Year 1 Half term 3 - Week 6

15/02/23 - Connections rehearsal.

Today it was my first time rehearsing for connections since I was ill. We worked on scene 3 and 4 which is the younger scenes. We first learnt what each of our characters were doing, this is so we use the right emotions and then we started working on blocking the scene. Making sure what we were doing would be realistic for a 13 year old to do. We learnt that the kids would be in a kebab shop (stefi’s dad owns this shop) and that they are being loud and asking for a bunch of food, for this we were brainstorming ideas on what we could do for this scene. The main idea was huddling in a group as we go in chatting and laughing. Later on in this scene Tom steals a can, I think stefi would be annoyed because Tom is stealing from her dad.
