Year 1 Half term 3 - Week 3

 23/01/23 - Film auditions. And group work on connections

Today was the film auditions, however I decided I did not want to be in the film so today I worked independently on blogger and learning lines for my connections audition.

Then after film auditions we’re over we went back to our group work for connections.

24/01/23 - Diction power points.

Today we presented our Diction and Articulation PowerPoints. I was in a group with Dev, A’layah and Freya so we took turns reading out each slide. We all realised that our PowerPoint wasn’t very strong so we know for next time to add more information. However, Kane did say we had a good amount of interaction to keep people focused but also enjoy the presentation. 

25/01/23 - connections practise.

Today we had our last connections rehearsals before the auditions. We worked in our groups finishing up everything we needed to work on before we need to perform it for Kelly.

26/01/23 - Connections auditions. 

For the auditions today we performed in front of the whole class in our groups, To get ready my group had 10 minutes to make sure everything was ready to go. I was really proud of my performance today because I was finally able to get out of my own head and just give it my all. I auditioned for older Stefi today and Kelly said it was one of my best performances/auditions yet which was really great to hear because it tells me that my progress is visible. Next week I will have a separate audition with someone who’s auditioning for Zafer in front of Kane as the character I’m auditioning for has a duologue.
