My backstage role - Oz

Props:

During the Wizard of Oz whilst I wasn't performing I would make sure that all props that weren't being used were in a safe place, either being on the props table or somewhere the actor that needed it knew it would be so if they asked me where a certain prop was I could tell them were to look so they can grab it and get ready to be on stage without worrying. 

Makeup:

Whilst getting ready for the Wizard of Oz I would help anyone out with their makeup if needed, whether that be literally doing it for them or just letting them borrow whatever they needed. I did this because I know not everyone owns makeup that could be used for an Ozian or Munchkin. 

Timings:

During the performances if I wasn't on stage and anyone wanted to know what part we were up to and they couldn't for whatever reason that may be, getting makeup done, going over lines or getting costume prepared etc. I would quickly go backstage and see what scene we were at and when they would need to be on stage so they knew how much time they had before they were due on. 

I didn't really have one role for backstage as a lot of people were also helping out so I just did whatever was available and would actually help the show run smoother.
